CCG’s FluoroChar® cable compound is a special formulated low-drip and high char-forming Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene (FEP) additive for use in multi-conductor cables, especially those with shielding. The usage of this additive can help reduce smoke generation for UL 444/NFPA 262 plenum burn testing, enabling passing results for 200°C continuous operating temperature cables with complex constructions.
