FiberSpun™
CCG’s FiberSpun™ coated yarns are specified as essential ingredients in the design and production of strength members in W&C applications, ballistic fabrics, and other technical textiles. Available as a coated yarn, monofilament or staple fiber, CCG’s FiberSpun™ products are used in datacomm, downhole cables and in commercial aerospace parts, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), drones, and other military and defense applications.
Engineered to perform, CCG’s FiberSpun™ encompasses coated aramid fiber, polyester, glass, or carbon fiber for yarns. FiberSpun™ products are extruded from polyolefins such as polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP), fluoropolymers such as polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) to high-performance engineering polymers such as Polyether Ether Ketone (PEEK), Polyaryletherketone (PAEK), and Polyether Ketone Ketone (PEKK), Polysulphone (PSU), Polyether Sulfone (PES), and Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS). FiberSpun™ is available as a mono-filament, yarn, and can also be custom-blended with aramid fiber.
