Fillers and Separators

CCG's original and core expertise is producing high performance cable fillers and separators.  Backed by 8 patents and 3 patents pending for data and electronic cable applications, and with a number of UL Recognized products, this expertise is not matched anywhere else globally.

CCG's cable fillers provide enhanced fire and smoke safety performance, electrical performance, chemical resistance, among other properties.

Materials -
-Fluoropolymer (FEP, MFA, PFA, ECTFE, ETFE, and PVDF).
-Fire retardant polyolefins (LS0H, FRPE)
-High performance materials (PPS, LCP).

For data and electronics wire and cable producers, CCG supplies proprietary and standard crosswebs, tapes, monofilaments, and other separators and fillers that are specified for Category 6, 6e and 6a LAN cable designs to meet stringent Plenum and Riser Test requirements for fire retardancy, low smoke generation, and electrical performance.

For industrial and electronic cable producers, CCG offers fillers and separators including monofilament rods, tubes (including co-extruded multi-wall), tapes (slit and single end), fibrillated tapes, monofilaments and fibers, and yarns.

During 2009, the company introduced FluoroFoam (R) thermally foamable fluoropolymer compounds for wire insulation and FluoroSpun (R) fluoropolymer staple fibers, yarns, and fabric.  CCG makes either solid filler products, or foamed filler products using these materials.
